Well, speaking of wedding rings being too big... if a man was wearing a ring that was too big for him, and if this man chose to play around in the ocean for an hour or so (and look so amazingly adorable doing it, by the way), then perhaps that ring would slip off. And you really have no idea how impossible it is to find a ring that has slipped off into the ocean until you try it. Just try to stay in the same spot while the waves rush in and crash against you. Just try to keep your eyes fixed in the right areas when the salty water is attacking them. You will find that finding a wedding ring in the ocean is impossible.

And three days later, you will find your sunburned bodies inside of the jewelry store, attempting to convince the jeweler that the ocean attacked your hand and stole the ring away, thereby making it a natural disaster payable by insurance. (Doesn't work, by the way).

Thankfully, my husband chose the cheap(but pretty!) titanium for his ring, and we are therefore only out a hundred bucks.

A hundred bucks and a sunburn, that is. My poor husband is in so much pain. His back, chest and belly are red and blistered, and he has barely been able to sleep due to the pain. I hate to see him hurting like this.

But, other than the ring and the sunburn, we had a great time at Orange Beach, Alabama with my family :)
